Review:Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum-High Adrenaline Rush!

Krishh as Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi is profoundly called is very well known for his throttling societal and burning scripts. After his runaway hit Gamyam his prestigious project Vedam dabbled as a commercial cinema but won critical acclaim,he is back again. This time Krishh is back with a full throttle mythological narration with his latest Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum starring RaNa and Nayanatara in lead.As Krishh previously said Redemption would be my new key for success,he does it in style.

Plot:
Getting down to the story B.Tech Babu(RaNa Daggubati) is an artiste from Surabhi family and is reluctant for plays. He is determined to move to the States for pursuing his higher studies. His grandfather Surabhi Subhramanyam (Kota Sreenivasa Rao) pesters him to stay back and take Surabhi forward in the Bellary Devi Nava Rathrulu play.Things go haywire after Subrahmanyam passes away and RaNa takes Surabhi forward. On a similar and parallel note tribals from ananthapur district are forced to abandon the forest by Mining baron Reddappa(Milind Gunaji) . Devika(Nayanatara) happens to be a journalist working for a TV channel covering a documentary on Reddappa's illegal mining.Babu and Devika embark upon a similar journey and their lives intertwine. What happens to their journey and how did they unfold the illegal mining of Reddappa forms the rest of the plot.

Plot Breakdown:
Screenplay is a killer for any movie. It can raise the bars and it can put the curtains down even.Krishh is very well known for his converging plots. All his movies have different plots coming to one single point, call it destiny or fate that is sheer coincidence practically.KVJ is never an exception for this again,Krishh has mingled the lives of Tribals,Media,Burning Individual and a Close Friend converging into one single point. He was very much successful in making the audience glued to their seats.

He very well relates dasa avatharalu and the current scenarios,he rightly targets krodham and not kopam.Krodham burns your thinking and Kopam burns your blood,he got the pulse right by making the audience go goosebumps most of the time. The play of title cards is a beautiful video collage of sensationalizing the burning issue of illegal mining. You feel that responsibility when you see people abandoned and dying.Krishh literally speaks to each of his audience throughout the film.

The point wherein RaNa says "Thatha Ippudantha Necessity of Living ante evadi bathuku aadu bathakali" people get convinced, they feel he is right. But Krishh was very particular in proving them wrong, this was evident in his succeeding scenes where in a tribal says "Ayya idhenayya mee taraniki maa taraniki unna theda...meeremo manam bathukudam paaripodam anukuntaru memu matho patu ee chotu bathakala mana thotodu bathakala anukuntam".What Krishh clearly says is Life isn't Necessity of Living but rather Live and Let Live. And even when RaNa says "Evadu cheyyatledu Devika mosalu...dochukune vadu dochukuntnadu...avakasam vaste dochukuntunnaru..adi nuvvaina sare evaraina sare....prathi common man naalane aalochistadu telsa?" and he proves it wrong by saying "Edaina nee daaka vasthe telusthundi Babu...odileyyatam antha telika kadu...edo oka roju nee daaka vastundi appudu telustundi niku".

Though at times one feels the screenplay isn't pacing fast that was due to the illogical placement of songs and unnecessary commercial elements. One can't say Unnecessary elements though as Krishh learnt a bigger lesson from Vedam which didn't had any commercial element. He introduced them here to be on a safe zone targeting a bigger lot of audience.

Screen Presence:
RaNa proves to be a better bet for dialogue delivery and the machismo,he carried his role with a larger and bigger intensity than required that made people glue their eyes.Though dance wasn't his cup of tea he manages to a larger extent. He was good with his comic timing and dialogue delivery.

Nayantara's role was more like a tom-boy,she carries the role with ease and grace.Sameera Reddy was sensuous in her Item Number.Hazel was okay.

Milind Gunaji was a pakka  show stealer. He made his presence felt to a larger extent.Raghubabu was great.Brahmanandam,Hema,Annapurna and the Surabhi troop were okay.

Posani times his dialogues with some of the trending issues. He was at his best.

What's Good:
It wouldn't be complete without mentioning the name of the music director Mani Sharma, though it seemed like a direct rip off in the first song where he utterly copies emotional atyachaar from DevD,he gave his best towards the background score of the film. The film is totally carried forward with his amazing BGMs which makes you  feel the pace. The theme of the movie rendered by SPB is a perfect way to feel the story and plot.
The other thing that is good in the movie are its dialogues.Sai Madhav Burra pens down dialogues with life imbibed in them. Some spectacular dialogues that made audience think were :

Buvva lekapothe mattini adigithe pedathadhi kaani matte lekapothe...mattine dhochesukuntunnaru kodukulu.

Okkadunna railu nadusthadhi naatakam kooda anthe okkadi kosam aagadhu okkadunna aagadhu.

Kaalanni kooda marchedhi Kala.

Adhi kala nidra lo kanedhi. Idhi Kala nidra lepedhi.

Kala ante brathuku nichedhe kaadhu brathuku nerpedhi kooda.

Thalli pegune ammukune biddalu ra meeru. Thallini samajanni avasaram kosam vaadukuntara ra?

Garba gudilo veedhi kukka ucha posinantha maathrana devudu mailu padipodu

Kadupu manta kanapadadhu kaani mandinchinavaadi chithi mande varuku manduthune untundhi.

Konni chaavulu chusi jaalipadakoodadhu garva padali.

Janalu kotte chappatlu thatha ki vysanam ayyipoyayi anukunna kaani naatakam chusi vandha mandhi chappatlu koduthunte okkadu nishabdham ga kurchuni nee yamma idhi nijame kadha ra anukuntadu aa okkadini nene ani nakippudu telisindhi thatha

Thatha bhaagavatham raasadu anukunna kaani brathuku raasadu anukoledhu babai

Oka ammai saayam cheyyamante manakendukule annanu ippudu naa daaka vaste kaani teliledu

Devudante saayam...oka chinna chapa saayam chesthe devudannaru...oka pandhi saayam chesthe varaham annaru...nenu ee naatakam eyyataniki arhudini kaanu thatha

Amma thommidhi nelalu kashtapadithe puttamu anukuntaru kondharu. Naana pakkalo padhi nimashalu sukha padithe puttamu anukuntaru kondharu. Rendu nijale. Kaani puriti neppulu choosina vaadu manishi avuthadu sukham anubhavinchindhi anukunnadu pashuvu avuthadu

The Cinematography by V S Gnanashekhar was neat and clean. He made the right use of panorama camera for the entire film to make sure he captures all colors bright.Editing was neat.

What's Bad:
The first half pumps in adrenaline rich content and the second half slows down a bit due to the unnecessary commercial elements and illogical placement of songs. It picks up high time in the pre-climax though.Apart from that there were no bad things about the movie.

Overall:
The movie stands tall in its content.Krishh has made every one of us think about what's going on in the society. He drives in a hidden message stating Daivam Manushya Roopena God is all about help.Help in need. And he was successful.

Verdict:
Don't miss this one.Its rare to watch such content rich stuff on screen.
